Grilled Corn on the Cob with Sweet Chili Honey Butter

Sweet, smoky, buttery, and just a little spicy.

This grilled corn recipe is one of those dishes that disappears almost as fast as you make it. We swapped traditional hot honey for our Freddie Sweet Chili Honey Infusion, which brings the perfect balance of sweetness and gentle heat.

Ingredients

  • 4 ears fresh corn, husks removed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Freddie Sweet Chili Honey
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh cilantro and lime wedges (optional)

  2. Stir together the softened butter, Freddie Honey, and sea salt.
  3. Slather the warm corn with the honey butter.
  4. Finish with cilantro and a squeeze of lime if you'd like.

A Little Summer Magic

The sweetness of the corn, the richness of the butter, and the sweet chili honey create the kind of flavor combination that keeps everyone reaching for "just one more bite."

Peaches à la Mode with Vanilla Lavender Honey

If summer had a dessert, this might be it.

Inspired by the viral air fryer apple trend, we're swapping apples for ripe peaches and using our Yaayo Vanilla & Lavender Honey to enhance their natural sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted (so ripe = soft but not mushy!)
  • Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Yaayo Vanilla & Lavender Honey
  • Vanilla bean ice cream
  • Granola of choice

Instructions

  1. Place peach halves in the air fryer basket.
  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of Yaayo Honey.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes.
  5. Top with vanilla ice cream, granola, and another drizzle of honey.

Easy Sobolo with Orange Spice Honey

If you grew up drinking sorrel or sobolo, you know the magic of hibiscus, ginger, cinnamon, and warming spices.

This version takes a shortcut.

Instead of simmering multiple spices, we're using our Renee Anastasia Orange Spice Honey, already infused with orange, ginger, cinnamon, and clove, to bring those familiar flavors to every glass of this hibiscus tea.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add hibiscus flowers and steep for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Strain and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Stir in Renee Anastasia Honey while warm.
  5. Chill and serve over ice with orange slices.

A Little Summer Magic

The result is bright, tangy, and deeply refreshing, a drink that feels equally at home and on beach vacay.

In Case You Were Wondering...

Can I use infused honey in summer drinks?

Absolutely. Infused honey adds natural sweetness and flavor to everything from watermelon juice and iced tea to lemonade, mocktails, and hibiscus drinks.

What is Sobolo?

Sobolo is a popular West African hibiscus drink traditionally made with ginger and spices. It's often served chilled and enjoyed throughout the year, especially during warm weather.  If you grew up Caribbean, it's known as Sorrel here.  Same drink we all love!
Our Mama Mint & Rosemary Honey would also pair beautifully with hibiscus tea if you're looking for more of an Eastern-inspired flavor.

What honey goes best with grilled corn?

A sweet and spicy honey works beautifully. Freddie Sweet Chili Honey Infusion complements the corn's natural sweetness while adding a touch of heat.

Can peaches be cooked in an air fryer?

Yes! Air frying softens peaches and caramelizes their natural sugars, making them an easy summer dessert.

Summer doesn't last forever, which is all the more reason to savor it while it's here.

Whether you're sipping fresh watermelon juice, sharing grilled corn with friends, or ending the evening with warm peaches and ice cream, these simple recipes offer a delicious way to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the season.
