Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 bell peppers (red, yellow, or orange), sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons SIIKA Freddie Sweet Chili Honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add onions and peppers. Cook 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Whisk together the Sweet Chili Honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and toss everything together until the beef and peppers are evenly coated.
- Cook another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and lightly caramelizes.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
