Sweet Chili Honey Beef & Peppers Skillet (Easy 30-Minute Dinner)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 bell peppers (red, yellow, or orange), sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons SIIKA Freddie Sweet Chili Honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Add onions and peppers. Cook 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Whisk together the Sweet Chili Honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  6. Pour the sauce into the skillet and toss everything together until the beef and peppers are evenly coated.
  7. Cook another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and lightly caramelizes.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
